This seems to be the only thread that sorta answers it:, even then there's one person that says 4gb to 4gb works and another saying you would possibly need to swap the CPU too. From some forums I saw, it doesn't look like I can transplant to a 250GB due to software lockout but no one confirmed switching to another 4GB model. While I was in there, I took out the 4GB flash memory thinking I could transfer it to another Xbox if I got my hands on one. I thought it might be a short in one of the USB slots but they were all fine and I even took the Xbox apart and didn't see anything abnormal. The internal memory cant be formatted, the last update cant be deleted from it, It wont even reset to factory setting, all because of 4gb of bad internal memory. No beep, no weird color on the power brick, tried different outlets and different bricks. Today I will be posting a Video on Youtube to show what my new xbox 360 slim 4gb, is doing. I'm pretty sure something fried on my slim model (the 4GB one, not the 250GB) and it won't power on whatsoever. ![]() ![]() I've been trying to find an answer the last couple days with Google but still can't get a concrete answer on my problem.
